About the Book
His scars are visible, hers can’t be seen.
Since his fiancée left him due to scars caused by a fire, Brandt Smith has kept women at a safe distance. When he runs into Jillian Saunders at the local gym, he can’t stop thinking about her big brown eyes and sweet blush. After a snowshoeing date, Brandt admits a spark is igniting between them. But when he spots Jillian with another man, his insecurities flash through him like a runaway blaze.
Jillian Saunders was scarred by a terrifying event in college that closed her heart to love. That all changed when Brandt, a handsome firefighter, moved to Eden Falls. Jillian is attracted to his gentle ways and caring nature. She finds them appealing—and safe. After a few dates, Jillian sees Brandt as a man she can trust. Until, with no explanation, he stops calling.
An on the job accident brings Brandt face to face with Jillian as his physical therapist. Can they work past the traumas life dealt them or will they get burned again?
If you like clean romance, quirky characters, and a quaint town you won’t want to leave, you’ll love Touches of Eden.
